Community Involvement
Somalia, December 1992
This is me at 23 years old in what seems like a lifetime ago. My Marine Corps unit, 2nd Battalion/9th Marines, part of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, was called to be the first unit into Mogadishu, Somalia in Dec. 1992.
The Marine Corps and veterans are so important to me. Everyday 22 active duty and veterans take their life. There is no room in our society for suicide.
Please ask the ones you love if they are ok....really ok. and let them know you love them.
A Family Affair
My beautiful wife, Tahmin (Tara), is our Director of Administration and my rock. She has stood beside me through the loss of my son Max to suicide. Here we are receiving an aware for helping and supporting the Sgt. Anthony P. Muhlstadt Defender 5k and 2.2 Mile March in June of 2025.
Sgt. Anthony P. Muhlstadt Foundation
I am very blessed to be a board member of this great foundation. The foundation raises money to help support education and outreach to prevent active duty and veteran suicide. This is a picture of my Marine Corps friend of nearly 40 years, Ed Landry. He flies from Texas every year to do this walk to raise money for the cause.
Maximilian Christian Dropic
This is the last time Max was with his sisters, whom he idolized. 12 days later Max took his life shocking and devastating his family and friends. Not a day goes by that I don't tear up when remembering him. From left to right: Dad (Ed Dropic), Kailey, Brenna & Max.
